Aputure STORM 80c RGBWW Point-Source LED Light
The Aputure STORM 80c is a compact RGBWW point-source LED light designed for controlled, directional lighting in studio and location environments. It features a full RGBWW chipset, enabling accurate white light reproduction along with extended color control.
The fixture supports a wide CCT range (approximately 1,800K–20,000K) with ± green/magenta adjustment, allowing precise color matching across mixed lighting conditions. It offers multiple operating modes including CCT, HSI, RGB, and gel simulation, with consistent output and stable color rendering across the dimming range.
The STORM 80c uses a point-source COB-style emitter, allowing compatibility with standard modifiers (Bowens-type or proprietary depending on configuration), making it suitable for shaping hard or soft light depending on the setup. Output is flicker-free and stable for high-speed shooting.
Control options include Sidus Link app, onboard interface, and DMX integration for multi-light setups. The unit supports AC power and battery operation via compatible power solutions, enabling flexible use in both studio and mobile productions. Thermal management is handled through an integrated active cooling system with adjustable noise profiles.
