Atomos Shogun Inferno 7” 4K HDMI/12G-SDI Monitor Recorder

The Atomos Shogun Inferno is a 7-inch on-camera monitor and external recorder designed for high-resolution video monitoring and capture. It features a 1920×1200 touchscreen display with high brightness (up to approximately 1500 nits), enabling visibility in daylight shooting conditions.

The unit supports recording in Apple ProRes and Avid DNx formats, capturing up to 4K UHD and DCI 4K via HDMI 2.0 and 12G-SDI inputs. It allows high frame rate recording depending on input signal, and supports log formats from major camera systems including ARRI LogC, S-Log, C-Log, and others.

The Shogun Inferno includes professional monitoring tools such as waveform, vectorscope, false color, focus peaking, zebras, and LUT support, allowing accurate exposure and color monitoring on set. It supports 3D LUT loading for previewing graded looks in real time.

Media is recorded to 2.5” SSD drives using Atomos Master Caddy systems. The unit supports dual NP-F battery operation, enabling hot-swapping for continuous power during extended recording sessions.

The device integrates seamlessly into cinema and broadcast workflows, offering reliable external recording, monitoring, and signal conversion for professional production environments.
