Easyrig Vario 5 with Serene Arm
The Easyrig Vario 5 with Serene Arm is a body-supported camera stabilization and weight-distribution system designed to reduce operator fatigue during handheld shooting. The system transfers camera weight from the arms and shoulders to the hips through a suspension line and support vest configuration.
The Vario 5 supports adjustable payload ranges suitable for compact cinema cameras and fully built production rigs. The integrated Serene Arm introduces vertical stabilization through a spring-loaded suspension mechanism, reducing vertical movement generated by operator footsteps during handheld operation.
The support line is mounted overhead through the Easyrig support arm, maintaining camera float and improving endurance during extended takes. The vest system distributes load evenly across the torso and hips while maintaining operator mobility.
The system is commonly used with cinema cameras such as ARRI, RED, Sony FX-series, and similar builds during documentary, commercial, music video, and narrative production where handheld movement and long operating durations are required.
Construction uses lightweight aluminum and reinforced support materials designed for continuous production use. Adjustable tension settings allow balancing across different camera weights and rig configurations.
