The Laowa OOOM 25–100mm T2.9 is a parfocal cine zoom covering Super 35 sensors. Its optical design maintains focus throughout the zoom range, minimizing breathing and preserving framing during focal shifts. The lens maintains a constant T2.9 aperture from 25mm through 100mm.

The image character is neutral with moderate contrast, minimal chromatic aberration, and controlled distortion across the range. The lens exhibits a clean optical signature while keeping sharpness consistent from center to edges on S35.

Mechanically, it features 0.8-pitch cine gears on focus, zoom, and iris rings, with a long focus throw for precise pulling. The front diameter is 114 mm, enabling compatibility with standard matte boxes and clip-on accessories. The lens supports PL, EF, and other mounts depending on configuration through interchangeable mounts.

The OOOM includes macro capability at the wide end, offering a close-focus range advantageous for product work or detail shots. Its optical assembly is built with robust housing suitable for professional rigs, follow-focus systems, and studio or handheld configurations.
