Sony FE 24–70mm f/3.5–5.6

 Sony 24–70mm kit lens is a full-frame standard zoom designed for general-purpose still and video work. It offers a variable f/3.5–5.6 aperture, allowing compact construction and lower weight compared to constant-aperture cine or G-series lenses. Optical stabilization (OSS) provides support for handheld shooting, compensating for small movements and aiding low-light work at the longer end of the zoom range.

The optical design incorporates multiple aspherical elements to reduce spherical distortion and maintain central sharpness across the zoom range. Autofocus is driven by an internal motor system designed for low-noise operation, making it suitable for hybrid video/photo use. Distortion and vignetting are more pronounced at 24mm and wide open but are predictable and correctable in post or in-camera profiles.

The lens covers the full-frame image circle and maintains compatibility with autofocus, stabilization, and lens communication features on Sony E-mount camera bodies.
